Buck and Carlotta Stahl bought a hillside lot above Sunset Strip in 1954. Architect Pierre Koenig built Case Study House No. 22 for them, completed in 1960.
Julius Shulman's photograph of two women in the glass corner at night became the image of Los Angeles modernism.
The Stahls raised their children here. The family still owns the house and offers tours.
